2. What this website does
Time Zone Meeting Planner is a browser-based utility that compares time zones and helps users identify practical meeting times across multiple locations. The values entered into the calculator are currently processed locally in your browser and are not intentionally stored by the website operator.
3. Hosting by Netlify
This website is hosted using services provided by Netlify, Inc. When you access the website, technical connection data may be processed by the hosting infrastructure. This can include information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested files, date and time of access, referrer information and similar server or security log data.
This processing is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably and to protect the service against misuse and attacks. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the legal basis is generally our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), insofar as applicable.
Netlify may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Netlify states that it uses appropriate legal safeguards for international data transfers, including applicable Standard Contractual Clauses and other recognized transfer mechanisms.
4. Cookies and local storage
The calculator itself does not require an account and does not intentionally store the values you enter on our servers. The website currently includes Google AdSense code. Advertising services may use or access cookies, device identifiers or similar technologies subject to applicable consent requirements. The calculator functionality itself does not require an account and does not intentionally save the values you enter on our servers.
Analytics: Google Analytics is not currently enabled in the version reviewed for this release. If it is enabled later, this policy will be updated and applicable consent requirements will be implemented.
5. Google Analytics (not currently enabled)
If Google Analytics is enabled on this website, it may be used to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are visited, how users arrive at the site, general interaction data, device/browser information and approximate geographic information.
Where required by law, Google Analytics will be used only after consent and in combination with Google's consent mechanisms. You will be able to refuse or withdraw consent through the consent settings provided on the website. The exact configuration of Analytics, retention settings and consent choices will be reflected here when the service is activated.
6. Google AdSense / Google advertising
This website currently includes Google AdSense code to support advertising. Advertising providers may use cookies, device identifiers or similar technologies to deliver, measure, secure and, where you have consented, personalize advertising.
For users in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising-related consent choices will be collected through a Google-compatible consent management solution before technologies requiring consent are used. Depending on your location and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized; certain storage or device access may still require consent under applicable law.
7. Legal bases under the GDPR
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data only where a legal basis exists. Depending on the processing activity, this may include your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), or our legitimate interests in securely and efficiently operating the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
8. International visitors and transfers
This website is available internationally, including to visitors in Europe, the United States and Canada. Service providers used to operate, measure or monetize the website may process information in different countries. Where legally required, appropriate safeguards for international data transfers will be used.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal data. Under the GDPR these can include rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to certain processing, and withdrawal of consent at any time for future processing.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. Visitors outside the EEA may have additional or similar rights under applicable national, provincial or state privacy laws.
10. Children
This website is a general-purpose time-zone and meeting-planning utility and is not designed to intentionally collect personal information from children. If future features involve accounts, submissions or other collection of personal information, this policy will be updated accordingly.
